Previously, she was the Director of the Medical Laboratory Science Program at St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She holds a Masters in Public Health from Thomas Jefferson University.

Michael has over three dozen publications in the field of thrombosis and hemostasis and has presented his work at national and international scientific meetings. He has been primary investigator on over 130 clinical trials and studies with physical, molecular, immunologic or hemostatic endpoints. He is currently an adjunct instructor at the School of Medical Technology at Michigan State University.
